Commensal Rodent Biology
This course will be covering all aspects of Rodent control. Subjects covered include the need for control; the biology and behaviour of rodents; selection, use, toxicity, formulations and safety of rodenticides; integrated rodent control and record keeping. The day will also feature a session on survey skills, including undertaking a practical survey around farm buildings and units on-site. This will not only allow attendees to learn more about the importance of the survey and survey skills but will also give practical experience of how to put together an effective integrated control plan and treatment strategy.
