Order Picker / Loading Assistant

Location: East Bristol
Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience, includes approx. 3 hours of overtime per week and annual bonus)

We are a family-owned chemical company based in East Bristol with an annual turnover of £30 million. We're currently seeking a reliable and motivated Order Picker / Loading Assistant to join our friendly team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

• Overtime: Occasionally required

  • Early starts from 7:00 am or late finishes until 6:00 pm

  • One Saturday morning in every four (7:00 am – 11:00 am)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate picking of customer orders

• Loading and unloading lorries

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck

• Moving heavy goods around the site safely

• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence

• Minimum 1 year of counterbalance forklift experience

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

• Full training will be provided
